Election commission wanted for the StuPa election in summer semester 2025!

The Student Parliament of BTU (StuPa) is the highest decision-making body of the student body. It is re-elected annually by you, the students – this election is organized each year by an independent Electoral Commission (WaKo), separate from the parliament itself.
The tasks of the WaKo include the planning, organization, and execution of the election. The election and the opportunity to run as a candidate must be announced in good time at the university. This involves creating and distributing posters, flyers, and other promotional materials. Promotion via online channels is also highly encouraged – creativity in your promotional efforts is always welcome!
After the election, the Electoral Commission convenes and chairs the constitutive meeting of the newly elected StuPa. This also includes preparing a proper meeting protocol. As part of the post-election process, the commission must also document all positive and negative experiences, as well as recommendations for the next commission, in a final written report.
Naturally, all of this is carried out in accordance with the statutes and regulations of the student body, particularly the electoral regulations.

At least five committed, team-oriented, and motivated students who enjoy taking on responsible, independent tasks and who want to be an active part of the democratic process.

The compensation for the entire Electoral Commission is 750 euros . This remuneration is tied to the execution, as well as the preparation and follow-up, of the election.
