Announcement of the election commission for the StuPa election 2024

The student parliament is looking for a 5-member WaKo for the 2024 election - do you have what it takes to take part?

The student parliament is re-elected every year, usually in early summer or during the summer semester. In order to conduct this election properly and without conflicts of interest, an independent election commission is required to promote, conduct and evaluate the election. It consists of exactly 5 people, who together lead the election in accordance with the statutes and carry out advertising campaigns for the election. Finally, the election commission also chairs the constituent meeting of the newly elected student parliament and submits a progress report with recommendations for future election commissions. Of course, this important work is also rewarded accordingly - namely with an expense allowance totaling €750, which the members of the WaKo can divide among themselves.

For the WaKo 2024, we are looking for people who enjoy working in accordance with the statutes and are ideally already familiar with the statutes and regulations of the student body, especially our election regulations. On the other hand, we are also looking for people who have creative ideas and creative skills to publicize the StuPa election and attract as many candidates as possible for the new legislature. Further information can be found in the PDF for the call for applications .

An informal application can be sent to praesidium@stupa-btu.de up to and including March 13, 2024. The members of the election committee will then be appointed by resolution of the Presidium of the Student Parliament. If the number of applications is too low, we reserve the right to extend the application period.
